Bitemybible.com is a blog that looks at how the Bible is portrayed on the British media scene - the good, the bad and the ugly. It's about providing a helping hand for journalists and broadcasters (instead of moaning on all the time), as well as roping in different views.
It might come as a surprise, but the Bible continues to hit the headlines and the themes within its pages keep coming to life through the media in all sorts of creative ways. Think Rory Bremner satirising Gordon Brown's reference to the Bible during his 2007 conference speech, the coverage of the Shibboleth 'crack in the floor' at the Tate Modern and the popularity of the BBC's biblical extravaganza, Any Dream Will Do.
